We have been certified by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) as a “JICA-SDGs partner” in the following SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) project.

Details:

The SDGs we contribute are following three:

” Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure”

” Sustainable Cities and Communities”

” Climate Action”

 

Specifically, we reduce the damage caused by slope disasters which are likely to occur frequently due to climate change by means of “Slope Disaster Prevention Solutions” which consist of slope diagnosis, early warning systems and first-aid measures.

Thus, we are going to contribute for the development of safe cities and the maintenance of infrastructure such as highways and mountain roads.

 

We have engaged in many slope disaster prevention projects and research in Japan in the past. In the above SME/SDGs business development support project, through the dissemination of slope disaster prevention measures technology, we aim to contribute for the development of the target country.

 

In addition, regarding the technology transfer necessary for this project, we have organized and run a research group for the purpose of human resource development and technology exchange with local industry, government, and academic organizations.
